PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a DNA chip production time to enhance productivity by promoting a reaction of a substrate with a probe in a probe solution, and to reduce a required concentration of the probe in the probe solution to reduce a cost of a DNA chip by promoting the reaction of the substrate with the probe in the probe solution, in a liquid imparting device used in DNA chip production. SOLUTION: This liquid imparting device includes an oscillator in a substrate mounting part, and a mechanism for controlling a frequency/amplitude/time of the oscillator inside or outside the liquid imparting device, and the reaction of the substrate with the probe in the probe solution is promoted by imparting vibration to the substrate.
