摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that is improved in quality of the moving images. SOLUTION: A field dividing drive operation is performed where odd-numbered fields, during which each of scanning electrodes (line 1, 2,,, 2N-1, 2N) in odd-numbered rows is driven sequentially and even-numbered fields, during which each of scanning electrodes in the even-numbered rows is driven sequentially occur, in alternate and repeated manner, with time width of a refresh rate. In the former half of the odd-numbered field, display data ([1], [3],,,) are written in each of pixel regions, corresponding to scanning electrodes in the odd-numbered rows, and in the latter half of the odd-numbered field, black data are written in each of the pixel regions, corresponding to scanning electrodes in the odd-numbered rows. In the former half of the even-numbered field, display data ([2], [4],,,) are written in each of pixel regions, corresponding to scanning electrodes in the even-numbered rows, and in the latter half of the even-numbered field, black data are written in each of pixel regions, corresponding to scanning electrodes in the even-numbered rows.
