PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train congestion factor notification system which announces the correct train congestion factor in an area in front of a door in a train, with less trouble. SOLUTION: The train congestion factor notification system comprises, as train equipment 110: a camera 111 for picking up an image in a vicinity of a door 101 in a train; a data processing unit 113 for calculating the congestion factor in the train, based on the image data acquired by the camera 111; and a transmission unit 114 for transmitting the congestion state data including congestion factor information to be output from the data processing unit 113, train specification information for specifying the train, and image pickup position information for indicating the image pickup position by the camera 111 in the train.
