A method for packaging reinforcing bars is provided to prevent the reinforcing bars from being corroded due to moisture generated in the package when the reinforcing bars are conveyed to a long distance. A method for packaging reinforcing bars includes the steps of binding two reinforcing bars as a bundle(1) to package the two reinforcing bars using a VCI film(3b). Since the reinforcing bar bundle is loaded on a support member(5) by two bars, it is possible to reduce package time and increase convenience of package operation. A plurality of reinforcing bar bundles are bound during a bar bundle package step to increase their own weight. As a result, it is possible to prevent the bundles from being moved due to impact, thereby preventing damage to the reinforcing bars and protection sheets.
