<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a peroxide enabling stable operation of a heat-exchanger while keeping the pressure in the system in a concentration step and having improved heat exchange efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a peroxide contains an oxidation step to oxidize an aromatic hydrocarbon compound to obtain an oxidation reaction product containing a peroxide, and a concentration step to separate at least a part of unreacted hydrocarbon compounds from the oxidation reaction product by distillation. The concentration step is carried out by supplying a substance having a boiling point lower than that of the aromatic hydrocarbon compound to the upstream side of the heating heat-exchanger for distillation in liquid state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
