A biodegradable heat shrinkable film is provided to realize excellent processability during extrusion and orientation, transparency, printability, adhesion to a solvent, and shrinking property. A biodegradable heat shrinkable film comprises a blend of a polylactic acid-based polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 200,000 or higher and an aliphatic polyester. The polylactic acid-based polymer and the aliphatic polyester are mixed in a weight ratio of 70:30-95:5. The blend optionally further comprises 300-5000 ppm of a fatty acid amide such as oleyl amide, acryl amide or stearyl amide, or 1-5 wt% of inorganic particles.
