<p>Cigarette packet comprises partial packets (10, 11) joined together by a hinged strip in the region of two neighboring side walls (24, 25). The hinged strip is joined to the partial packets and to the side walls by gluing or thermal sealing. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a cigarette packet.
