An apparatus and a method for organizing information concerning life patterns of a user are provided to visually summarized information by organizing the summarized information by the use of a small number of images to help users' memory and satisfy a necessity deducible in sensitivity and life patterns. An apparatus(100) for organizing information concerning life patterns of a user includes an input unit(110), a storage unit(115), an information collecting unit(120), an analysis unit(130), a specificity probability deducing unit(140), a specificity selecting unit(150), a coding unit(160), an image generating unit(170), an image group generating unit(175), a display unit(180) and a control unit(190). The input unit receives a user's command. The storage unit stores a geographical information table, a user profile, and a modularized Bayesian network. The information collecting unit collects data representing a user life pattern. The analysis unit statistically analyzes the information collected in the information collecting unit. The specificity probability deducing unit deduces at least one kind of specificity. The image generating unit generates images corresponding to specificities. The image group generating unit generates an image group where the generated images are arrayed according to a predetermined array rule.
