METHOD FOR STREAMING SERVICE OF COMPANY OFFERING VOD AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORD MEDIUM HAVING THIS METHOD

A method for streaming the service of a company offering VOD and a computer readable record medium having the method are provided to save the resource of a client and protect the right of users by using a portion of a RAM of a client as a subordinate server. A method for streaming the service of a company offering VOD includes the steps of: requesting a certain packet of VOD to a providing company(100); verifying if the requested packet from a client is stored at a RAM of an alien client; receiving the corresponding packet from a contents DB and transmitting the packet to the client when the requested packet is not stored at an alien client; and selecting an optimized alien client and requesting packet transmission when the requested packet is stored at an alien client.
