<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail member connector which can continuously connect handrail members together according to a turning state of a staircase even if the turning state is different depending on the staircase, and can set all of the continuous handrail members in parallel with a wall. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail member connector consists of two connection members 1, 2 to which two ends of the respective handrail members to be connected can be fitted. Alternatively the connector may consists of the two connection members 1, 2, and a joint member 3 jointing both the two connection members 1, 2 to an end orthogonal to the connection members. Both the connection members 1, 2 are tied together by mortise-tenon joint, and rotatable about an axis D<SB>1</SB>that is a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the handrail members fitted to each other. The joint member 3 and both the connection members 1, 2 can be tied together by the mortise-tenon join, and both the connection members 1, 2 are rotatable with respect to the joint member 3 about axes D<SB>2</SB>, D<SB>3</SB>that are a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the handrail members fitted to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
