<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting method which can advance component mounting operation more efficiently, and to provide a component mounting apparatus using the method. <P>SOLUTION: In the component mounting method using the component mounting device comprising a component supplying section 4 in which a plurality of tape feeders 4a are removably mounted and a mounting head 20 movable between the component supplying section 4 and a plurality of types of substrates P; the types of the substrates P to be continuously produced are identified, the tape feeders 4a for supplying all types of components to be mounted onto the substrates P are mounted in a component supplying section 4, it is confirmed whether the tape feeders 4a are mounted at predetermined positions, and thereafter the components are continuously mounted to the plurality of types of substrates P by driving the mounting head 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
