<p>The present invention relates to a method for treating a human patient having a proliferative disorder by administering an effective amount of a pre-treatment to the patient prior to administering an effective amount of a nucleotide-based composition that inhibits the over-expression of a target gene that causes the proliferative disorder. The present invention includes pre-treatment with one or more radiotherapy such as an X ray, a proton beam, an electron beam; hyperthermic therapy, ultrasonic therapy, chemotherapy and a biologic therapy. The invention also relates to an improved dose and scheduling sequence for treating a human patient in need thereof with such a nucleotide-based inhibitor of gene expression.</p> |
