PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which minimizes a side effect such as the generation of heat, without additional composition, to improve operational characteristics when a high-voltage drive integrated circuit is used, and also provide its driving method. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with; a display panel in which a plurality of pixels are arranged in matrix form, the pixels being partitioned by gate lines and data lines which cross one another; a timing controller which generates a gate control signal which controls driving timing and a first source enable signal; a gate driving part which sequentially supplies the gate lines with scan signals in response to the gate control signal; a pulse width adjustment part which changes the pulse width of the first source enable signal to generate a second source enable signal; and a data driving part which supplies the data lines with data voltages in response to the second source enable signal.
