1. In the method of controlling battery state, the accumulator is discharged and charged, during regular battery usage, with determined current values until a determined final voltage is reached. The method is realised in a system for controlling battery state, equipped with a shunt and a rectifier, connected in parallel to the battery, while the examined battery is connected to measuring devices. It is characterised in that the values of block voltage are measured and converted in block-voltage measuring modules (4) into a signal of variable frequency, which is transmitted to the battery tester (6). Then, the voltage of the examined battery (5) is measured and transmitted to the battery tester (6), where it is converted into a signal of variable frequency, dependent on the value of the measured voltage. The signal from the measuring shunt (3), dependent on the value of the flowing current, is transmitted to the battery tester (6), where it is converted into a signal with the frequency dependent on the value of the signal from the measuring shunt (3), while the direction of the current flowing through the measuring shunt (3) is determined. The charge delivered to or acquired from the examined battery (5) is calculated in the battery tester (6) on the basis of the current flowing through the measuring shunt (3). Moreover, the growth of the charge of the examined battery (5) is blocked in the final stage of charging, when the value of the current flowing to the examined battery (5) is equal to the preset zero value. The results of measurements are written to the internal memory of the battery tester (6) and the obtained results are read and analysed in a PC computer (7). |
