PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion energy driving type driving device (rivet driver) not requiring large working force, simple in constitution and high in reliability of motion. SOLUTION: A magnetic means 31 to hold a plate body 17 is provided on a holding means 30 and additionally, a countermeasure to excel holding force of the magnetic means 31 is provided on it on the combustion energy driving type driving device to guide a driving piston 13 to the inside of a guiding cylinder free to move by providing a combustion chamber 14 of oxidant-combustible gas mixture to drive a fixed element such as a nail, a rivet, a pin, etc. in a base, providing the plate body 17 provided free to move in the axial direction by a transfer means 33 in this combustion chamber and providing the guiding cylinder 12 free to hold this plate body 17 on an end part 15 of the combustion chamber 14 against the transfer means 33 by the holding means 30 and to connect it to the combustion chamber 14.
