PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift actuator capable of preventing wear and noise from occurring by the cushioning effect of a fluid during the shifting. SOLUTION: In this 3-5 shift actuator 50, a 3-5 shift fork 41 connected to shift pistons 50c, 50c is operated in the shift direction by supplying a pressurizing fluid into one of both fluid chambers 50d, 50d formed in the shift pistons 50c, 50c at both ends during the shifting and discharging the drain fluid charged in the other fluid chamber. Orifices 50e, 50e for suppressing the discharged amount of the drain fluid is set in a circuit into which the drain fluid is discharged according to the stroking operations of the shift pistons 50c, 50c among the operating fluid circuits connected to the both fluid chambers 50d, 50d.
