PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GUI specification creation method and a GUI specification creation system that can output information on a screen including a utilized default value to specifications. SOLUTION: A specification original data creation processing means 122 extracts information outputted to the specifications from GUI detailed information in a source file of GUI designed by a software designer using an optional visual development tool, and the extracted information to be outputted is stored as specification original data after acquiring information omitted by the software designer by referring to an initial value storage table. A specification creation processing means 124 forms the specification original data stored by the specification original data creation processing means 122 in accordance with the specifications template which is stored as GUI detailed specifications.
