PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitted fabric wherein thermofusible elastic fibers such as polyurethane elastic fibers are used and thermofused, seldom fraying even if subjected to repeated stretching/contraction or washing, and seldom causing elastic fiber breakages at spots where thermofused parts are concentrated. SOLUTION: The knitted fabric is designed as follows: at least one kind of inelastic fibers and multiple thermofusible elastic fibers are passed through separate reeds respectively, and the number of thermofused spots of adjacent n-elastic fibers is counted to be n-1. Thereby, stress concentration on the elastic fibers at spots where thermofused elastic fibers are concentrated can be dispersed to improve the fatigue resistance of the elastic fibers at the spots and enable to inhibit elastic fiber breakages.
