PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy beam-curable type water-based coating composition having small environmental load because of water-based composition and forming a coating film excellent in alkaline resistance and adhesiveness on the surface of glass container by active energy beam curing. SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises (A) an active energy beam-curable composition, (B) a nonionic surfactant, (C) an alkoxysilane compound and water as essential components.
