ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element which stably operates with uniform luminescent characteristics and is excellent in lifetime characteristics. SOLUTION: The electroluminescence element is provided at least a pair of electrodes and a plurality of function layers formed between the electrodes. The element includes a transition metal oxide layer (MxOy: M denotes a transition metal) disposed between an electrode for injecting holes out of the pair of electrodes and the functional layers. An ionized potential of the transition metal oxide layer is configured so as to be not less than an absolute value of the ionized potential of the function layer of the transition metal oxide layer side.
