The present invention relates to a polymer composition having improved ageing and scorch properties comprising a polyolefin, a substituted or unsubstituted carboxylic acid anhydride and an antioxidant. Furthermore the polymer composition of the present invention is used in a layered device, in particular an electric power cable.
