A PMP(Portable Multimedia Player) having an external camera is provided to has a function for photographing a video and make the camera connected to a main body through a cable, thereby easily performing various closeup photographing and shooting for special effects. A PMP(Portable Multimedia Player)(100) comprises the followings: a central controller (140); a memory(150); a video output(160); an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(170); a key input(180); an interface(190); a microphone(200); a microphone input(210); a voice output(220); and a speaker(230). A camera(120) is formed through a connection jack connected to the connector of a main body and a cable(121) connected to the jack. A video input(130) is additionally formed to receive a video photographed by the camera, process a video signal, and input the video signal to the central controller.
