A twin A-frame type portable bookrest is provided to be carried easily, to make the size thereof small, and to form a three fold shape when being folded completely by having rods of 2-3mm as main constitutional elements. A long A-frame is used as a support frame and a wide A-frame is used as a gripping frame to be hung on a partition. The long A-frame leg is hung on the partition with an A-frame branch. The wide A-frame is hung on the long A-frame with a connection branch. A thin rod of the long A-frame is sustained by an A-frame leg connected thereto. The wide A-frame forms an inclination by leaning on a short A-frame rod. A reading material is hung by an A-frame branch, a rack(g) and a hanging rod.
