FIELD: furniture industry and transport, in particular, construction of equipment for armchairs, sofas, beds of various purposes, and also special kinds of furniture used in medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: adjustable mechanical support assembly has base and combination of flexible members which are fixed with their one ends on base and which define with their opposite ends supporting surface of support assembly. Retainers mounted on support assembly base have open and closed positions drive providing simultaneous moving of all retainers to said positions. Flexible members are furnished with non-stretchable binders, each of said binders being connected with its one end to respective flexible member on the side of supporting surface of support assembly and is cooperating with its free end with one of retainers. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction providing comfortable seating for user. ^ 8 dwg |
