FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns tests of gas separators (GS) applied in dipping electric pump aggregates for oil production in wells. GS test method involves obtaining of gas-fluid mix (GFM), feeding it via injection line to a well modeling unit (WMU), GFM separation by the GS under test, transfer of degassed fluid to a collector and transfer of separated gas to the hole clearance of the WMU. At that, gas and fluid flow rate and pressure are smoothly adjusted, separation modes are changed discreetly, foaming properties of the circulating GFM volume are adjusted in the test process, input, output and residual free gas content and gas and fluid flow rate at the WMU input are defined, separation rate and gas and fluid flow rates in the respective WMU output lines are calculated. GFM separation by the tested GS is implemented at a constant fluid flow rate entering the WMU, that prevents fluid downflow to the hole clearance. Constant gas content is maintained in the GFM entering GS and WMU due to a permanent upward GFM flow in the hole clearance. ^ EFFECT: streamlining of tests; reduced test time and improved reliability of the results. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
