FIELD: electrical engineering; circuit opening devices. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed high-speed circuit breaker has movable and fixed contacts, electromagnet incorporating magnetic circuit with coil and holding armature connected to movable contact, disconnecting spring, and contact pressure spring; magnetic circuit and holding armature are installed on common fixed axle for rotation about the latter; contact pressure spring is coupled with magnetic circuit and disconnecting spring, with holding armature. Circuit breaker is provided with fixed trip-free armature and magnetic circuit, with magnetically permeable component in the form of magnetic circuit body extension that forms additional magnetic circuit together with trip-free armature having additional working gap wherein moment of force acting upon magnetic circuit relative to fixed axle opposes that created by contact pressure spring. ^ EFFECT: simplified design. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
