PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-rattling spring having practical construction in an integral form with a bent metal wire rod for preventing the displacement of a pad 5a in the peripheral and radial directions of a rotor during non-braking operation. SOLUTION: The anti-rattling spring 13a comprises a supported base part 17, an elastic thrust part 18, and a wear indicator part 19. The supported base part 17 is supported on an engaging protruded portion 14 provided at the end of a pressure plate 6a. The elastic thrust part 18 has bent portion 23a, 23b, 23c formed at three positions on an intermediate or end portion and protruded from the peripheral edge of the engaging protruded portion 14. The bent portions 23a, 23b, 23c elastically thrust the corner face and both side faces of an engaging groove 15 of a support 2a.
