PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitting/receiving module which is easy to adjust the direction of an optical isolator. SOLUTION: There is provided the optical transmitting/receiving module comprising: a light emitting element 2 for emitting first wavelength light and a light receiving element 3 for receiving second wavelength light that are arranged in the module body 1; and an optical isolator 5 which is located between an optical demultiplexing filter 4 and the light emitting element 2 and shuts off the light reflected from an optical fiber 30, wherein the light receiving element 3, the optical demultiplexing filter 4, and an end part of the optical fiber 30 are held in a first case 10; the light emitting element 2 and the optical isolator 5 are held in a second case 11; the module main body 1 is constituted of a combination of the first case 10 and the second case 11; the second case 11 has a mounting face 21 for mounting the peripheral part of the optical isolator 5 on the upper face; and the direction of the optical isolator 5 is freely adjustable on the mounting face.
