PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal composition for papermaking, capable of suppressing an excessive foaming especially in a papermaking process, also having a good fixing property of an active ingredient to paper, and accelerating the paper characteristics, especially the improvement of the paper bulk. SOLUTION: This medicinal composition for the papermaking contains (A) a non-ionic surfactant and (B) the specific ratios of specific 2 kinds of cationic surfactants having different number of carbon atoms.
