PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin membrane device in which a functional thin membrane having a stable membrane thickness of a flat cross section is laminated in a device forming area divided by barrier rib part, an organic EL device and a liquid crystal display device provided with the above thin membrane device, an electronic unit, a manufacturing method of the thin membrane device, a manufacturing method of the organic EL device and a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display device.

SOLUTION: The organic EL device 20 is provided with a light emitting element part 22 composed of a multi-layered bank 13 to divide a device forming area A and an organic EL functional layer 21 of a multi-layered thin membrane formed by applying a plural kinds of functional liquids on the device forming area A and drying. On a wall face of a side of the device forming area A of the multi-layered bank 13, a first bank 14, a second bank 15 and a third bank 16 are laminated to provide two stepped parts 14a, 15a.
