A system for preventing an imitation is provided to prevent a label from being forged and don't have to use an expensive label using an electronic recording medium. A method of a system for preventing an imitation includes a step of checking a production inventory number and a PIN hidden by a forgery preventing label, by a purchaser; a step of connecting a homepage through the internet of a computer or an ARS(Automatic Response System) service of a telephone(B1); and a step of checking uniformity between the production inventory number and the PIN. Checking data are recorded and alarmed when checking the uniformity repeatedly, as the production inventory number and the PIN are uniformed at the final step.
