PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method which enables simultaneous recognition of the mounting condition of an external storage medium, the using condition of information in the external storage medium, and image selection information, in the case of the presence of a plurality of external-storage-medium mounting mechanisms. SOLUTION: In this printer in which a plurality of external-storage-medium mounting parts are installed, the mounting conditions of the external storage medium are displayed in the alignment sequence of the external-storage-medium mounting parts.
