A method of producing 3'-phosphoadenosine-5'-phosphosulfate (PAPS) characterized in that, in a method comprising using adenosine 5'-triphosphate sulfurylase (ATPS) and adenosine 5'-phosphosulfate kinase (APSK) and phosphorylating ATP to thereby produce PAPS, use is made of, as a substitute for ATP, an adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP)-supplying/regenerating system comprising adenosine 5'-monophosphate (AMP), polyphosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid-depending nucleoside 5'-diphosphate kinase (PNDK) and polyphosphoric acid:AMP phosphotransferase (PAP), or an adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP)-supplying/regenerating system comprising adenosine 5'-monophosphate (AMP), polyphosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid-depending nucleoside 5'-diphosphate kinase (PNDK) and adenylate kinase (ADK). |
