PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel acene organosilyl compound having a reactive silyl group as a terminal group (especially, a highly electroconductive one having a large ring structure) and to provide a method for producing the same simply with a high yield. SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing an organosilyl compound having a reactive silyl group as a terminal group, which comprises reacting an acene compound having a halogen substituent at a terminal thereof with a hydrosilane.
