A method for providing an internal messenger to a user terminal is provided to apply to all user terminals executing an internal message program, and protect security of the terminal connected to the internal message program from the outside as well as the inside of a company. An internal messenger is executed in the user terminal(S1). The internal messenger requests an ID and a password for logging in to the internal messenger to the user(S2). If user successfully logs in to the internal messenger, it is determined whether connection to the internal messenger is the internal or external connection based on an IP(Internet Protocol) of the user terminal(S8). If the external connection is determined, the internal messenger transmits the ID and the password to the VPN(Virtual Private Network) linked with a security protocol, and the VPN performs user identification with the ID and the password, and completes the connection to the internal message of the user terminal by forming a tunnel for exchange packets(S13). If the internal connection is determined, the user terminal is promptly connected to the internal messenger.
