MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR LENS HAVING IR CUT OFF FILTER

A method for manufacturing a lens having an IR cut off filter is provided to reduce the height of the module to 0.2mm by stacking at least one plastic aspherical lenses formed thereon the IR cut off filter. A method for manufacturing a lens having an IR cut off filter includes the steps of: mounting at least one aspherical lens(21) in a chamber; converting the inside of the chamber into an initial vacuum state during 30 minutes; operating a cryo pump for a high vacuum state inside of the chamber; stabilizing the degree of vacuum in the chamber by reducing the pressure inside of the chamber to 1X10-6Torr; and alternately depositing IR cut off filter layers(22) on one surface of the plastic aspherical lens.
