PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete composition in which air contents caused by the extension of kneading time are not increased on its production and entrained air contents can be stably retained, and which has excellent strength and durability. SOLUTION: The concrete composition contains a polyoxyalkylene based compound, water, cement, a fine aggregate, and a coarse aggregate as essential components; (1) in the polyoxyalkylene based compound, pH of a 1 wt.% aqueous solution is≥8, and the distribution coefficient of octanol/water is 4.5 to 10.5, or (2) the polyoxyalkylene based compound has at least one nitrogen atom in the molecule, and the distribution coefficient of octanol/water is 4.5 to 10.5.
