A data generating device and a control method thereof, a data analyzing device and a control method thereof, a data processing system, and a machine-readable storage medium are provided to achieve low computational cost analysis of all kinds of variable-length data by using existing variable-length data formats including public key certificates. A data generating device(201) comprises a variable-length data input unit(203), an embedding unit(206), an location information acquiring unit(208), and an outputting unit(209). The variable-length data input unit is used for inputting the variable-length data. The embedding unit is capable of embedding identification data corresponding to format information which indicates the format of the variable-length data to the variable-length data. The location information acquiring unit acquires location information which indicates the location of the variable-length data corresponding to the identification data. The outputting unit is used for outputting the variable-length data with the identification data embedded and the location information.
