PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent defects due to the binding of boron to a binder during forming in producing a dielectric porcelain.
SOLUTION: A dielectric porcelain material powder containing an auxiliary material at least containing boron is mixed with a binder at least having an OH group, then formed and fired. Before adding the binder, at least a nonvolatile organic material having an OH group is added to the dielectric porcelain material powder. The previously added organic material binds to boron and therefore, when the binder having an OH group is added after the addition of the organic material, the binding of boron to the OH group in the binder is prevented. The added organic material is decomposed/burned in a subsequent burning step and does not remain after burning, and therefore the addition of the organic material does not cause the variation of electrical properties, such as Q value and permittivity.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
