摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium alloy improved in high temperature oxidation resistance at a higher temperature exceeding 800°C and an engine exhaust pipe constituted of the titanium alloy. SOLUTION: The titanium alloy is composed of a component composition of Ti-Si system containing a specific amount of Si and regulated in Al to improve the high temperature oxidation resistance at a higher temperature exceeding 800°C of the titanium alloy used for the engine exhaust pipe and the like. Further, the oxidation resistance is raised at the higher temperature than 850°C etc., exceeding 800°C of the titanium alloy by suitably adding composite addition of Nb, Mo, Cr and Si, coarsening of equiaxed crystal grains, acicular structurizing, thickening of titanium alloy maximum front face Si, and means for reducing impurities, such as copper, oxygen and carbon is improved.
