<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and a camera system in which an improvement in resolution can be attained and further and color reproducibility is excellent, and which is capable of generating approximately natural colors corresponding to brightness. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel array part 11 adopts an oblique pixel array and is formed as a pixel array obtained by equally inserting a clear pixel C of high transmissivity in upper and lower oblique directions to a color filter pixel R having a peak of spectral sensitivity characteristics including a color filter in red, a color filter pixel G having the peak in green and a color filter pixel B having the peak in blue. A clear pixel dedicated read channel CH-A and a color filter pixel dedicated read channel CH-B are separated and configured to independently read the clear pixel C and the color filter pixels R, G and B. In addition to adopting a system for reading the clear pixel C and the color filter pixels R, G and B on other channels, an electronic shutter time, speed and gain in post-stage processing can be changed independently for the clear pixel and the color filter pixels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
