A terminal switching service providing method, a system therefor, and a telematics device are provided to allow the user to receive services provided by an existing mobile terminal through a telematics device in the same subscriber environment. A subscriber DB(DataBase) stores subscriber information of a telematics device(100) installed in a vehicle and service registration information including information on the telematics device and a mobile terminal(200) of the subscriber. The first service controller analyzes the first service request information received from the telematics device(100), discriminates the subscriber of the telematics device, and checks the telematics device and mobile terminal information of the subscriber. The second service controller provides the second service request information, requesting to change a service connection established between the mobile terminal(200) and a mobile communication network(300) to the telematics device(100), to the mobile communication network(300).
