PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens holding device where a difference of rotation responsiveness of a lens optical axis between a yaw direction and pitch direction is suppressed while suppressing the increase in a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The lens holding device includes: a lens holding frame having first guide grooves and second guide grooves provided on both sides of the outer circumferential surface across an optical axis; a first holding frame having a first holding part facing the first guide groove, and including a plurality of first driving projections fitted in the first guide groove from the first holding part; a second holding frame having a second holding part facing the second guide groove, and including a plurality of second driving projections fitted in the second guide groove from the second holding part; a fixed frame for journaling the first holding frame so as to be freely rotated around a first rotating axis, and also, holding the second holding frame so as to be freely rotated around a second rotating axis vertical to the first rotating axis; a first coil and a first magnet provided to rotate the first holding frame around the first rotating axis by the interaction of an electromagnetic force; and a second coil and a second magnet provided to rotate the second holding frame around the second rotating axis by the interaction of an electromagnetic force.
