PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a voltage drop caused when a secondary air supply controlling device drives a plurality of air pumps. SOLUTION: An ECU 30 is installed on each of a plurality of secondary air supplying pipes 18, energizes, drives each of the air pumps 19 which is driven with power supply through a battery 50 and supply air from an air intake pipe 2 side to a corresponding exhaust pipe 3 side, and adjusts energization start timing of each air pump 19 by shifting it for a predetermined time. The ECU 30 is installed on each of the plurality of secondary air supplying pipes 18, energizes, drives each of the air pumps 19 which are driven with power supply through the battery 50 and supply air from the intake pipe 2 side to the corresponding exhaust pipe 3 side, and controls driving duty from start of the energization to each air pump 19 to gradually bring it close to a target value.
