A plasma display panel is provided to increase a freedom degree in a design by preventing electrical short circuit due to narrowing of a gap between obliquely patterned conductors. A first substrate(10) and a second substrate are disposed opposite to each other. A plurality of address electrodes are formed on the first substrate and are extended in a cross direction. A plurality of first grooves(17) are formed on the first substrate and are extended obliquely to the extended direction of the address electrodes. A plurality of first conductive patterns are electrically connected to the address electrodes and are formed within the first grooves. The first substrate includes a first dielectric layer(12). The first grooves are formed in the first dielectric layer. A second dielectric layer is formed to cover the first grooves and the first conductive patterns.
