PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray detector which prevents the disturbance of the crystal structure of an X-ray photoconductive film made of a lead iodide (PbI<SB>2</SB>) at an interface between the X-ray photoconductive film and a pixel electrode or a bias electrode. SOLUTION: The X-ray detector includes an active matrix substrate carrying a plurality of pixels arranged thereon having a charge storage capacity, a switch element, and a pixel electrode; an X-ray photoconductive film which is made of lead iodide, and is formed on the active matrix substrate; and a bias electrode formed on the photoconductive film. A crystal structure control layer is formed between the X-ray photoconductive film and the pixel electrode, or between X-ray photoconductive film and the bias electrode. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
