<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a by-product water utilizing method and system for reducing environmental load. <P>SOLUTION: In a synthesis gas production step and/or a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis step, a by-product water treatment step 4 for removing oxygen-containing hydrocarbons from generated by-product water is installed, and treated water from which the oxygen-containing hydrocarbons have been removed by the by-product water treatment step 4 is reused as at least one of boiler feed water, step steam, steam for heating, cooling water, and water for fire-fighting, which enables a volume reduction of wastewater discharged to the outside of a system, such as a river and a sea, and enables reduction of consumed industrial water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
