<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for determining the varnish impregnation state of a coil nondestructively, and to provide a process for manufacturing an armature. <P>SOLUTION: An impulse waveform Pb before impregnation which is a response waveform when an impulse signal is applied to a coil before varnish impregnation is compared with an impulse waveform Pa after impregnation which is a response waveform when an impulse signal is applied to a coil after varnish impregnation. Varnish impregnation state of the coil is determined based on the amount of phase delay Dn (n is a natural number) of the impulse waveform Pa after impregnation with respect to the impulse waveform Pb before impregnation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
