<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumed by internal time correction using GPS signals and highly accurately perform internal time correction. <P>SOLUTION: A timepiece includes a reception part 22; a time measuring part 17 for holding internal time data of current time; a storage part 15; and a CPU 11 for determining whether the internal time data acquired from the time measuring part 17 is of time corresponding to correction time data stored in the storage part 15, selecting one GPS satellite of satellite identification information stored in the storage part 15 when it is of the time, acquiring GPS time data of navigation data of GPS signals from the selected GPS satellite received at the reception part 22, correcting the internal time data on the basis of the GPS time data, relating the satellite identification information of the GPS satellite from which navigation data has been received to correction time data, and storing it in the storage part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
