An electronic conference assistance method and an information terminal device in an electronic conference system are provided to make the progress of an electronic conference, which is conducted by conference members including a person at a remote place, smooth. An information terminal device in an electronic conference system comprises the followings: a receiving unit(14) which receives information about the conference attendance status of each participant in plural conference rooms; a production processing unit(20) which produces a degree of disadvantage indicating whether the each participant is in a disadvantageous status when the each participant participates in a conference on the basis of the received information; and a disadvantage output processing unit which outputs the produced degree of disadvantage.
